Regional and Local Dimension of the Eastern Partnership

CONCLUSIONS
The Committee of the Region's Eastern Partnership (EaP) forum provided an opportunity to share experiences and encourage local projects among members of the Eastern Partnership countries, businesses and non governmental organisations, associations and EU institutions as well as national, regional and local representatives.
The forum addressed the Eastern Partnership with a political approach at the opening, including the contributions of his President Luc Van den Brande, the Permanent Representative of Poland to the EU, H.E. Ambassador Tombinski, the representative of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and of the upcoming Presidency of the EU, M. Anders Henriksson, and M. Janos Herman, Special Advisor on the EaP at the European Commission's Directorate General for External Relations. The two workshops held in the afternoon focused respectively on territorial cooperation and economic development and on capacity building and good governance.
