A renewed Declaration of the #CohesionAlliance for a cohesive, sustainable and resilient Europe
On Europe Day on the 9th May, the #CohesionAlliance partner organisations put forward a proposal for a renewed Declaration in view of the upcoming decisions on the EU's next Multi-Annual Financial Framework and the EU Recovery Plan. The objective was to shape an inclusive new statement together with all stakeholders and institutions at European, national, regional and local level, including governments, businesses and civil society.
After a wide consultation, a final version of the renewed Declaration was agreed upon by the partners of the #CohesionAlliance and will be adopted during a #CohesionAlliance meeting on 14th July. The new text will be presented to the EU leaders in view of a final deal on the Multi-Annual Financial Framework 2021-2027 reached by the European Council and the next inter-institutional agreement.
