The CoR Working Group on relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, chaired by Csaba Borboly (RO/EPP), Vice-President of the Harghita County Council, will hold its 4th meeting on 5 November 2026, in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the invitation of Mayor Kenan Dautović, to take stock of developments on the ground and discuss how local and regional authorities can help drive reforms and support the country's path towards EU membership.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for Working Group members to engage with relevant stakeholders and local and regional authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Discussions will focus on the current state of EU-Bosnia and Herzegovina relations ant the country’s accession process, with particular attention to the contribution of local and regional authorities to the implementation of the Reform Agenda. Participants will also discuss ways to strengthen the involvement of local and regional authorities in EU-funded programmes and improve their capacity to benefit from accession-related financial instruments.
