Compatibility assistive technology
The EU Committee of the Regions mobile app is designed to be compatible with:
- Android and iOS operating systems
- The latest versions of screen readers such as TalkBack (Android) and VoiceOver (iOS)
- Common voice control and switch access tools
Non-accessible content
Some elements of the app are not fully accessible. In particular:
- certain buttons and images do not have clear or descriptive labels, which may make them difficult to understand for users relying on screen readers;
- several interactive areas are smaller than recommended, which could make navigation difficult for users with limited dexterity;
- text and visual elements in some areas have insufficient contrast, which may affect readability for users with visual impairments;
- a few technical accessibility best practices have not yet been fully implemented.
Work is ongoing to address these issues and improve the app's overall accessibility.
