This event was organised by RobertoPELLA (IT/EPP) with the aim of disseminating and exploring the content and recommendations of the CoR own-initiative opinion (CDR 2588/2023) - Building a values-based, bottom-up European sports model: a vehicle for encouraging inclusion and social wellbeing among young Europeans. Inparticular, discussions focused on presenting existing projects and future opportunities targeting sport as a key sector and a tool for an innovative European values-based social model.
High-level representatives of the European, governmental, regional and local authorities contributed to the debate.
