The Abruzzo Region and the USRA and USRC Reconstruction Offices organised a travelling photographic and video exhibition on the state of reconstruction in the Municipality of L'Aquila and the municipalities of the Crater hit by the 2009 earthquakes.
The exhibition illustrates the recovery work carried out on a sample of buildings damaged by the earthquake, considered particularly significant and representative from a historical, artistic, architectural, cultural and engineering point of view, belonging both to the Municipality of L’Aquila, the regional capital, and to the neighbouring municipalities equally affected by the earthquake.
This exhibition from the heart of Europe, aims to commemorate the victims of the earthquake, to pay tribute to the meritorious activity of all those involved in the impressive reconstruction work, to testify to the commitment and the results achieved and to spread the message of recovery, growth and socio-economic development which is underway throughout the territory.
On the 13th of March 2025, at 13:00, closing day of the exhibition, a meeting of local representatives will be held, giving insights of this exhibition.
