1. The EU LIFE calls are now officially open!

We are excited to announce that from 2025 to 2027, the EU LIFE Programme will provide €2.3 billion in funding to support Europe's green transition. This investment will fund innovative environmental and climate projects that aim to create a clean, circular, competitive and climate-resilient economy.

2. EC-EIB Adaptation Days 2025: A deep dive into financing coastal resilience

Scheduled for June 5–6, 2025, during the UN Oceans Conference, the European Investment Bank and the European Commission will reconvene in Nice, France, for the second edition of Adaptation Days. This year's event focuses on local governments, planners, port authorities and climate professionals, emphasising the adaptability of coastal regions. Attendees can expect engaging discussions, expert panels, and a site visit to a climate-adapted wastewater treatment plant in Nice. The conference will be live-streamed, and participation is free!

3. Learn from Cities Like Yours - Apply for a City-to-City Exchange

Are you struggling with an urban challenge? The European Urban Initiative's City-to-City Exchanges are here to help. This programme connects local authorities across the EU with peers who have successfully tackled similar issues. From green infrastructure to mobility and social inclusion, these visits offer practical insights and fresh ideas for sustainable urban development.

It's flexiblecommunity-driven, and designed for your city's needs. No minimum population is required, and small or less-developed cities are especially encouraged to apply.
