ENVE works in fields related to the European Green Deal, which include the environment biodiversity, circular economy, zero pollution, climate change, energy, and space policies.
The aim of the project is to show that the bike is a comfortable and efficient means of transport throughout the year. The project will take place in collaboration with other municipalities within GR (Gothenburg Region Municipal Association) during the winter of 2020/21.
As a winter cyclist you get:
- Tyre change to studded tires to prepare your bike for winter
- Reflective vest
If you are employed by Kungsbacka municipality, you will be taxed for the above.
If you are selected as a winter cyclist, you undertake to:
- Cycle at least three days a week during the winter cycle period.
- Regularly report how much you cycle during the period and participate in the evaluation of the project.
- Leave comments on what works well and less well with cycling in winter in Kungsbacka municipality.
