About
The network is open to local and regional elected representatives from across Europe who commit to sharing with their constituents what the EU is doing for them and to encouraging citizens to engage with the European project.
Members receive privileged access to a range of dedicated services and products to use in communicating on the ground, networking and sharing knowledge & experience with other EU local councillors in the network.
With more than 3,000 members across all EU countries, the network is run jointly by the European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions, following the merger of their respective Building Europe with Local Councillors network (BELC) and Network of Local and Regional Councillors.
