The 2025 Environmental Implementation Review (EIR) is planned for adoption on the 7th of July. On the same day, a conference (hybrid mode) will be co-hosted by Jessika Roswall, European Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy and Kata Tüttő, President of the Committee of the Regions, in room JDE52 of the Committee of the Regions.
The event will include a panel discussion with EU institutions, business and civil society representatives. It will be the occasion to take stock of the implementation of environmental legislation in the EU and discuss the challenges and opportunities to close the implementation gap.
