An externalmeeting of the Councilof Ministers of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate will take place in Brussels on 6 September 2022 at the European Committee of the Regions,Jacques Delors building.
The overarching theme for this external cabinet meeting is the EuropeanGreen Deal with its chances and challenges for the state ofRhineland-Palatinate.
With it, the European Commission has set the goal totransition to a modern, resource efficient and globally competitive economy.
With the war of aggression waged on the Ukraine, however, pivotal aspects ofthis Green Deal have to be re-evaluated with regard to looming energyshortages, existing dependencies and substantial constraints on supply chains.
