Eight years ago, the Croatian County Association started a photo contest for amateur and professional photographers with one goal: to promote all of Croatia's counties and their peculiarities. A photo contest named „I love my county" ("Volim svoju županiju“) soon became viral, with thousands and thousands of photos and authors sending their work every year.
In 2023, the Croatian County Association marks 20 years since its foundation, Croatian counties mark 30 years of their formation, and Croatia marks 10 years of being a member of the European Union. On that occasion, we present an exhibition of the best photographs from this year's contest, I Love My County, each representing one of 21 Croatian counties.
