Organised by Hanna Zdanowska (PL/EPP) at EC1 Łódź – City of Culture, Targowa 1/3, Łódź, Poland, this EU Local Dialogue will focus on the future of EU cohesion policy and its impact on cities and regions. As the European Union prepares its next Multiannual Financial Framework and programming period, the discussion will explore the opportunities and challenges ahead for Łódź and the wider region, whose transformation has been strongly supported by EU funding. Bringing together representatives of the European Parliament, the Polish government and local authorities, the event will provide an accessible overview of ongoing negotiations and examine how proposed changes could affect local communities. The dialogue will take place primarily in person, with some speakers joining online.
