The rapporteur would be happy to meet with representatives of local and regional associations and other stakeholders for a consultation and an exchange of views on the subjects of this CoR Opinion.

The opinion's timeline is as follows: the first discussion and adoption of the draft opinion is scheduled for the SEDEC meeting on 22 June 2026 and final adoption is expected in the plenary session of 12-13 October 2026.
The rapporteur is very keen to hear stakeholders' views during the meeting. After a short introduction by the rapporteur, stakeholders will be invited to exchange views with the rapporteur.
The meeting will be held in English. Participation will be possible in-person at the Committee of the Regions (meeting room BvS 577, Rue Montoyer 92-102, Brussels) and online.

For practical reasons, you are kindly asked to register your participation before COB on Friday, 17 April 2026.
Please note that in order to reduce paper waste, the CoR will not provide paper copies of documents for the meeting.
