Running this contest helps to do such things as raise awareness of circular economy issues, instil new attitudes to waste management and encourage people to move away from consumerist lifestyles.
The goals of the contest include promoting the circular economy and highlighting and appreciating imaginative and original extracurricular activities in this field by schools and teachers in Mazovia. Although the topic may seem rather foreign and complicated to people who are unfamiliar with it, we hope this contest will change how people see it. Through a contest aimed at kindergartens and schools, we want to bring these issues closer to pupils and also to teachers and parents, so that they can understand that circular economy principles are present in each of our lives and that there is a lot we can do ourselves to support the transition to a circular economy.
The contest was announced for the first time in 2022.
