This mechanism promotes high-quality energy renovation work with financing plans geared to the inhabitants of the Region of Occitanie: reducing energy consumption, making housing more comfortable and reducing energy poverty.
Rénov’Occitanie is the regional public service for energy performance renovation of private housing established by the Region of Occitanie in January 2021. It supports households with planning and carrying out renovation work intended to improve the energy performance of their house and so reduce their energy consumption.
There is a huge array of aid, agencies and information that people need to wade through when they decide to try to make their house more energy efficient, and as a result they are often bewildered and sceptical. In response, the Region of Occitanie has set up a public service for energy performance renovation of housing: Rénov’Occitanie. This service is designed to be an independent source of support for the general public and a reliable third party.
Rénov’Occitanie is based on a network of 31 one-stop-shops which have been in operation since 1 January 2021 and cover the entire region. 173 advisers work at grassroots level:
