This is the latest edition of the Green Deal Funding Alert. It's a monthly newsletter that keeps you informed about funding opportunities and initiatives that support sustainable development and the transition to climate neutrality. 1. Innovation Fund – Call for proposals

Are you looking for funding to accelerate the deployment of innovative technologies in Europe? 

The Innovation Fund, the largest EU funding programme for innovative low-carbon technologies, is opening two calls for proposals available for industry and clean tech players in Europe.

• IF23 Call: €4 billion budget to support projects in various sectors, including decarbonisation, clean tech manufacturing, maritime and energy-intensive industries. More information here.
• IF23 Auction: €800 million budget to support renewable hydrogen production. More information here.

 2. CEF Energy: 3rd call for status for Cross-Border Renewable Energy Projects

Are you working on a cross-border renewable energy project?

Apply now to the 3rd call to obtain CB RES status and join the list that will allow projects to get funding under CEF Energy!

3. JRC Stakeholder consultation for the future of the EU "local" Green Deal

Do you want to share your opinion and grassroots experience in relation to the European Green Deal and contribute to shaping the policies of tomorrow?

Researchers from the Joint Research Centre launched a survey for urban/regional policy experts and decision-makers to contribute to inform the next European Commission regarding local-specific priorities for EU cities and citizens.

This will help better identify barriers that might hamper progress towards the Green Deal and collect local success stories contributing to its implementation all around the EU.

4. 3rd ManagEnergy Master Class - Call for participants

Are you looking for opportunities to develop skills and knowledge to foster, stimulate and develop sustainable energy projects in Europe?

Apply now for the 3rdMaster Class on One-Stop-Shops open to staff of a regional authority, local authority and local/regional energy agency!

The class will be delivered in a blended learning format:

• 31 January 2024 – Morning online session
• 14-15 February 2024 – 1.5-day face-to-face session in Brussels
• 28 February 2024 – Morning online session
