The winners of each category were announced on 23 September, during a special ceremony with EU commissioner for Agriculture, Janusz Wojciechowski.

Best Organic Region – South Savo, Finland

South Savo is a leading organic region in Finland, known for its commitment to sustainable farming, biodiversity, and eco-friendly food production. The region has a high percentage of organically cultivated land and actively supports organic businesses and rural development.

Best Organic City – BioStadt Bremen, Germany

BioStadt Bremen is a pioneer in integrating organic food into public institutions, schools, and catering services. The city promotes organic farming, strengthens local supply chains, and educates citizens about sustainable consumption, making it a model for urban organic development.

Best Organic Bio-District – Sörmland Bio-District, Sweden

Sörmland Bio-District is an innovative hub that brings together farmers, businesses, and local authorities to foster organic production and consumption. The district focuses on sustainable food systems, supports organic entrepreneurship, and enhances environmental conservation efforts.
