Digital technologies are transforming European agri-food value chains, driving innovation, efficiency and sustainability.

This hybrid event, organised by Fundación Finnova within the Interreg VI-A Spain–Portugal (POCTEP) project HIBA+ (Hub Iberia Agrotech), hosted by the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), brings together EU institutions, national representatives, researchers and sector stakeholders to discuss the new European outlook on agricultural digitalisation and the opportunities it opens for an innovative, efficient and sustainable sector.

Presenting the results of the HIBA+ project, cofinanced by the ERDF, the programme includes an institutional opening, a presentation of project results by research partners, and two roundtables: one on the institutional perspective on the digitalisation of the agri-food sector (with representatives of the European Commission and the Permanent Representations of Spain and Portugal), and another on moving from innovation to practice and accessing EU funding opportunities.

The event is part of the project's communication activities in Brussels, aimed at sharing results, fostering networking and capitalising on good practices beyond the cross-border area.

The event will be held in Spanish and Portuguese, in person and online.

The European Committee of the Regions is hosting the event but is not responsible for its content.
