Castelo – Braga Innovation Laboratory is an aggregating initiative that brings together the Municipality of Braga and several knowledge centres in the region, from universities to entities in the National Scientific System and technology transfer.
In the initial phase of this initiative three areas will be covered:
- Urban innovation, betting on mobility, the environment and the management of urban spaces, promoting new policies that promote the improvement of the quality of life of citizens;
- Social innovation, developing actions to support training. Development of new ideas, promoting the production of knowledge and the development of the municipal corporate social responsibility strategy;
- Cultural innovation, promoting cultural entrepreneurship and welcoming mobilising projects with strong citizen involvement.
This is already a reference cluster for the development of innovative and disruptive solutions that the municipality is implementing and that meet the Green Deal and sustainability for all.
