This local event organised by CoR alternate member Giuseppe /media/5322VARACALLI (Renew/IT) took place in an area strongly affected by the phenomenon of migration. Based on a presentation of the CoR opinion (CDR 3942/2022) - AC Legal migration - Attracting skills and talent to the EU, the participants looked into the issue of unaccompanied migrant minors, and the need to find appropriate solutions for their integration.
The objective was to propose a new approach to the reception of migrant minors that would allow them access to the appropriate facilities while they are in their temporary homes. That is why it is proposed to establish a catalogue to which, after evaluating the requirements, they will be able to register.
