PACTE+ aligns with the EU Work Plan for Sport, advocating for stronger local policies that support physical activity as a key driver of well-being. By sharing knowledge and concrete solutions, this event will empower cities to implement more effective active city policies and drive long-term change.
The event will bring together project partners, political and administrative representatives from 20 European cities, and key stakeholders in health, sports, urban planning, and public policy.
The workshop aims to foster collaboration among European cities by facilitating the exchange of best practices in promoting physical activity. Each city will have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others, gaining insights into innovative policies and initiatives. Key discussions will focus on the Matrix for Change, a strategic tool developed within the project, and ways to strengthen the European network of active cities while promoting political commitment to local action.
