The 7th ENVE commission meeting will take place fully in person on Tuesday, 3 February 2026 from 11:00 to 17:00 in the room JDE 52 at the European Committee of the Regions, Rue Belliard 99-101, Brussels.
This meeting will also be available via web-streaming.
The agenda includes the adoption of the draft opinion Sound Policies: Protecting Citizens and Nature from Noise Pollution - Rapporteur: Marieke SCHOUTEN (NL/ GREEN+PRO)
Moreover, two exchanges of views and one Exploratory debate are foreseen:
- EU global climate and energy vision. Towards more inclusive climate and environment global negotiations - Rapporteur: Konstantinos BAKOYANNIS (EL/EPP)
- Environmental Implementation review - implementation and simplification of the EU environmental policies - Rapporteur: Stefania PROIETTI (IT/PES)
- European Grids Package - Rapporteur General: Clare COLLERAN MOLLOY (IE/RE)
AddItionally, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the debate with the Cyprus Presidency of the Council on their priorities on the green transition.
