This event is part of the cycle of local EU Dialogues promoted by the European Committee of the Regions, aimed at strengthening citizen participation in European policies and making Europe more accessible and understandable at the local level.

Organized by Rome Capital City Councilor and CoR member Fabrizio Santori (IT/ECR) in Casa delle Eccellenze – Largo Quaroni 13, Rome, the event will explore the strategic role of the European Union in promoting and supporting Italian excellence through tenders, networks, innovation, culture, and the protection of Made in Italy.

It offers an opportunity to engage with citizens, enterprises, associations, and institutions on how European policies can serve as concrete tools to enhance local territories, build international networks, and safeguard Italian identity.

The meeting will also address practical issues affecting the productive, cultural, and social sectors, and will officially launch the traveling project “Italian Excellence towards Europe,” which will conclude in 2026 at the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels with a major institutional event.

The event is open to the public with free participation until seats are filled.
