The CoR will host a high-level dialogue on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy on 17 November 2026 from 14:00 to 17:00 in JDE 70. This in-person meeting will bring together European, national, and regional representatives to discuss the next CAP and related agricultural policy opportunities.
The meeting will begin with opening remarks from Mr Piotr Całbecki, Chair of the CoR NAT Commission, and Mr Arnaud Lécuyer, Coordinator of the Coalition of European AgriRegions.
Ms Elisabeth Werner, Director-General for Agriculture and Rural development, and Ms Mary Carey, SCA spokesperson for the Irish Presidency of the Council, will deliver keynote contributions.
The conference focuses on two panels.
First panel starting at 14h30 will examine the role of regions to create synergies in the next CAP with contributions from MEPs and representatives of regions.
