The 4th ENVE commission meeting will take place fully in person on Tuesday, 24 June 2025 from 11:00 to 17:00 in the room JDE 52 at the European Committee of the Regions, Rue Belliard 99-101, Brussels.
The agenda includes the adoption of two draft opinions:
- Designing nature credits: A framework to promote biodiversity and ecosystem services by rapporteur Rastislav TRNKA (SK/EPP)
- State of the energy union: getting prepared for a smooth implementation of energy transition in line with Fit for 55 targets by rapporteur Joško KLISOVIĆ (HR/PES)
Other than the two adoptions, there will be an exchange of views on "Climate adaptation in cities and regions: building the European Climate Adaptation Plan" (Rapporteur: Matteo LEPORE (IT/PES)), a Debate on Green Public Procurements and a Presentation of Action Plan of the CoR with the Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) of the European Commission.
Additionally, there will be a Green Deal Helpdesk featuring a presentation from the Jacques Delors Institute on the report “Building decarbonisation, affordable housing and energy poverty in Europe”
