The Better Regulation and Active Subsidiarity Steering Group, chaired by Karin Müller (DE/EPP), State Secretary for European and International Affairs and De-bureaucratisation of the State of Hesse, will hold its 7th meeting on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, in Brussels.
Members will exchange on the role of local and regional authorities in contributing to the better regulation agenda of the European Commission, particularly with regards to simplification, and on the 2026 European Commission Work Programme. Furthermore, they will discuss the new CoR better regulation strategy.
The meeting will take place in room VMA 23 of the CoR premises.
