The CoR Working Group on Kosovo will meet in South Mitrovica, Kosovo, on 23 October 2026. This is already the fourth meeting of the Working Group and it will again be chaired by Gillian Coughlan (IE/renew E.), Member of Cork County Council, who is also the CoR rapporteur on the 2025 Enlargement Package for the Western Balkans and Türkiye.
The delegates will discuss the role of Kosovo's local authorities in the EU integration and conflict resolution at the local level. The host of the event will be Faton Peci, the Mayor of South Mitrovica.
