Youth before the Future of the European Union (Jóvenes ante el Futuro de la Unión Europea) is an EU Local Dialogue organised by CoR alternate member Jesús Ángel Garrido Martínez (ES/EPP) at the Conference center Riojaforum in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain. The event will bring together young people, educators, institutional representatives and EU stakeholders to discuss the future of the European Union and how it can better respond to the aspirations and concerns of younger generations.
The dialogue will focus on bringing the EU closer to young people and exploring their understanding of European policies and opportunities. Participants will include representatives of the Government and Parliament of La Rioja, the European Parliament Office in Spain, schools participating in the European Parliament Ambassador School programme, youth associations, Erasmus+ participants and former trainees of the European institutions. Through interactive discussions, the event aims to strengthen youth engagement in democratic life and connect the EU's strategic priorities with the local reality of La Rioja.
