In the face of a housing crisis that affects the entire continent, the European Commission is committed to making affordable housing a political priority. It will present the very first European plan for affordable and sustainable housing in 2026, as well as a pan-European investment platform to support their development.
At the same time, the Social Climate Fund will help households with energy renovations and access to more efficient housing.
This EU Local Dialogue, in the format of a conference-debate, will bring together several key players: the Caisse des Dépôts Group, the European Committee of the Regions, and a social landlord. The evening will be hosted by Toute l'Europe, which will facilitate the discussions.
