EGTC Eurodistrict PAMINA received the award for the educational online game "Passe-Partout – Weltenbummler" which allows children from the age of 8 to playfully discover the Eurodistricts of the Upper Rhine valley and learn each other’s language. The aim of the game is to raise pupils’ awareness of cultural diversity and intensify their intercultural exchange through cross-border class meetings. The award recognises the innovative approach of this project to multilingualism and to building of European citizenship from the youngest age.
EGTC Eurométrople Lille-Kortijk-Tournai received an honourable mention for the project "Europe: I love you, me neither?". The EGTC organised citizens’ consultations with the aim to bridge the gap between citizens and the highest European levels and allow citizens to speak up about Europe Through social media and press coverage, the project reached well over 200,000 people.
