The CoR has appointed Thibault Lechat-Vega (FR/PES), Vice-President of the Region of Guyana, as rapporteur for the opinion on the Outermost Regions package. To support the preparation of his opinion, the rapporteur would like to gather your views and feedback, guided by the questions provided at the end of this invitation.

The questions guiding the consultation are:
- Do you consider that the approach set out in the Commission's new strategy in its communication is sufficiently ambitious? Do the objectives identified seem relevant to you?
- Do you consider that the regulatory package proposed by the Commission is the best solution to address the specific problems of the outermost regions?
- What measures, both in the communication and in the regulatory package, do you think are lacking to meet the ORs' challenges?
- Do you consider that this new proposal fits in well with the European Commission's proposals for the future budgetary framework (2028-2034)?
