The event will feature local administrators from Calabria Region and will be dedicated to drafting a Local Anti-Racism and Integration Action Plan, with a specific focus on the territories of Calabria and Southern Italy.
The conference addresses inclusion and community-building by connecting civil society directly to policymaking at European and regional level. By centring migrant communities’ testimonies gathered by over 150 students from 20 countries in the first part of the project, the conference will bring together EU policymakers, local authorities from Calabria civil society organisations, students and migrant communities to co-draft of a Local Anti-Racism and Integration Action Plan.
