The 10th meeting of the CIVEX commission will take place on 9 September at the Van Oys Maastricht Retreat in Eijsden (The Netherlands) .
The agenda includes:
- Discussion and adoption of the draft opinion 'The Pact for the Mediterranean: One Sea, One Pact, One Future' (Rapporteur: Magali Altounian (FR/renew E.))
- Discussion and adoption of the draft opinion 'ProtectEU: Agenda to prevent and counter terrorism' (Rapporteur: Olgierd Geblewicz (PL/EPP))
- Exchange of views on the opinion: 'A Simpler, Clearer and Better Enforced EU Rulebooke' (Rapporteur: Matteo Luigi Bianchi (IT/ECR)
- Discussion and adoption of the draft opinion 'From Temporary Protection to Sustainable Solutions for Displaced Ukrainians in the EU – the role of cities and regions' (Rapporteur: Antje Grotheer (DE/PES))
This meeting will be fully on-site. The public will be able follow the meeting via web-streaming to be made available below.

The meeting will be followed on Thursday 10 September by the annual external conference on 'Celebrating 80 Years of Freedom: Democratic Resilience for the Way Ahead', held at the same venue.
