Bionic Soul is a Tunisia-based MedTech startup specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of advanced and affordable prosthetic limbs for amputees across Africa and the MENA region. They develop a comprehensive ecosystem of prosthetic devices including carbon-fiber dynamic feet and 3D-printed flexible solutions alongside its flagship BioniLeg platform, an intelligent bionic knee integrating multi-sensor fusion and edge AI. By manufacturing locally, the startup cuts import costs by 40% to 60% and guarantees local device repair within 72 hours, allowing affordable prosthetic limbs for amputees across Africa and the MENA region and creating local jobs in Tunisia.
We want to bring hope to 65 million amputees worldwide. Every 30 seconds, someone loses a lower limb, yet the vast majority still can't access affordable prosthetics in MENA and Africa regions.
