The conference "La place des territoires au sein de l'Europe" (The place of territories within Europe) was organised by CoR member Jean-François BARNIER (FR/Renew) on 7 February 2024 at the premises of Saint-Etienne National School of Mines (Loire).
Hosted by Madame Mouna Mouncif-Moungache (Europhile) Lecturer at Jean University Monnet de Saint-Etienne, the Conference addressed the themes of the place of territories within Europe. The speakers, Christophe Rouillon (FR/PES) and François Decoster (FR/Renew), Presidents of political groups within the European Committee of the Regions, provided an enlightened vision on the issues facing the territories.
The Conference was opened to local dialogue with students, engineers, and general public, with a special time devoted to questions and answers.
