The Youth Network Event aims to build a strong partnership between the European Parliament and youth organisations and to keep these organisations engaged with and informed about the European Parliament’s legislative work and its impact on citizens’ lives.
As more EU countries lower the voting age, Parliament’s continuous outreach to youth organisations is crucial in view of engaging young people - and especially future first-time voters - across the EU in the democratic process over the next five years.
The second purpose of the Youth Network Event is therefore to develop an active community of multipliers where organisations efficiently work with the EP and each other, sharing best practices and partnering on projects.
