The 9th meeting of the CIVEX commission will take place on 9 June in Brussels.
The agenda includes:
- Discussion and adoption of the draft opinion 'European Democracy Shield' (Rapporteur: Stephen DE RON (LU/Greens+Pro))
- Exploratory debate on the opinion 'The importance of decentralised cooperation and city diplomacy in the EU approach to fragile settings' (Rapporteur: Magali Altounian (FR/renew E.))
- Exchange of views on the opinion 'The Pact for the Mediterranean: One Sea, One Pact, One Future' (Rapporteur: Magali Altounian (FR/renew E.))
- Exchange of views on the opinion 'ProtectEU: Agenda to prevent and counter terrorism' (Rapporteur: Olgierd Geblewicz (PL/EPP))
This meeting will be fully on-site. The public will be able follow the meeting via web-streaming to be made available below.
