  • Cohesion Policy

The European Summit of Local Intermediate Authorities will bring together presidents and representatives of NUTS 3 governments, Members of the European Parliament and other representatives of the European institutions. Together with key territorial stakeholders will discuss the future of EU Cohesion Policy and the next Multiannual Financial Framework.

The conference will focus on how Local Intermediate Authorities can contribute not only to the implementation of EU funds, but also to the design, governance and strategic orientation of future programmes. It will showcase their capacity to deliver concrete results on the ground thanks to their proximity to citizens, municipalities and local realities.

By fostering dialogue between European and territorial decision-makers, the Summit aims to promote a stronger place-based approach to Cohesion Policy and to support a broader political recognition of Local Intermediate Authorities as key partners in ensuring that European investment reaches all territories effectively.
