The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is pleased to invite you to the conference Energy Transition Goes Local: Driving the Energy Transition in Europe’s Cities and Regions.
Cities and regions are at the forefront of delivering the energy transition on the ground. At a time of rising global tensions and geopolitical challenges, empowering local and regional authorities to lead the transformation of the energy system has never been more important.
This event will bring together policymakers, local and regional authorities, civil society representatives and key stakeholders to exchange views and contribute to the policy discussions to build a secure, resilient and affordable energy union.
This consultation will support the CoR ongoing work on energy policy and contribute to the preparation of three upcoming opinions: Citizens Energy Package, Yonnec POLET (BE/PES), Energy Security Framework, Vlasta KRMELJ (SL/EPP), and Small Modular Reactors strategy, Ans MOL (NL/ECR).
