In 2019-2022, 353 projects were carried out through this instrument for a total amount of over PLN 3.6 million, including modernisation of garden infrastructure, in particular revitalisation of allotment houses, modernisation of access roads, lighting, sewerage and water supply, entry gates and fencing, waste sheds and facilities for ensuring the proper functioning of family allotment gardens. There are currently 100 ongoing projects for a total amount of PLN 1.6 million.
The aim of this initiative was to promote measures to meet the social, leisure and recreational needs of the community, particularly families with children, pensioners and people with disabilities by creating conditions for active and healthy lifestyles, protecting the environment and nature, making good use of the potential of green spaces and promoting measures to create the conditions to develop social capital and social inclusion.
