The « Cap à la demande » service is a public transport on demand service operating from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 7pm, with reservations (between one month and one hour in advance). The service covers the whole of the Communauté d’agglomérations du Cotention (local authority) and serves all 129 municipalities in the area, with at least one stop in each of them, i.e. a total of 513 stops. It operates on a zonal basis, in twelve sectors. It provides a connection service to bring people to the regular bus routes of the Cap Cotentin network (local public transport) as well as local trips within the zone. Journeys are provided from address to address for people with reduced mobility.
The dynamic nature of the service allows for the optimisation of journeys and vehicle occupancy rates, and ensures a high degree of flexibility for users. The vehicles are adapted for people with reduced mobility and can carry up to eight passengers.
The service is accessible with a Cap Cotentin ticket, the unit price of which is €1 (valid for one hour on the entire network).
Reservations can be made by phone, from the Cap Cotentin website or from the MyMobi mobile application. It is possible to cancel a journey up to one hour before the scheduled departure.
