To exchange practical experience and strengthen cooperation between Latvian and Ukrainian local authorities, this EU Local Dialogue brings together representatives from the Ukrainian municipalities of Berehomet, Mryn, Putyla and Vyzhnytsia, alongside Latvian local leaders. Participants will discuss how municipalities can ensure the continuity of essential public services during crises, including water supply, sewage, road maintenance and street lighting, while also addressing strategic communication, resilience against foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI), and support for residents affected by post-traumatic stress.

Hosted by the Mayor of Cēsis Municipality, Jānis Rozenbergs (LV/Renew), the seminar is organised by the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments (LALRG), the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), the Association of Ukrainian Cities (AUC) and the U-LEAD with Europe Programme. The event will take place at Cēsis Concert Hall, Raunas iela 12-1, Cēsis, Latvia.
