This Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) seminar will explore the new European Innovation Act and its potential to strengthen Europe’s innovation ecosystem, competitiveness and technological sovereignty, with a particular focus on its regional impact. The Act intends to create new possibilities for regions and cities to serve as launch markets for innovation and to connect research, startups, scaleups, investors and public administrations more effectively.
The seminar will start a discussion with regional and local authorities, policymakers and key stakeholders on how the Innovation Act can be used in practice by regional and local ecosystems and how it fits into the wider EU, including initiatives such as the Scaleup Europe Fund.
