The 2025 edition of the European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) award has been launched on 15 November 2023 at the European SME Assembly in Bilbao. The deadline for the submission of applications is 20 March 2023.
The EER 2025 Info Day, organised as a hybrid event on 23 January 2024 at 10 a.m. CET, aims to address regions awarded with the EER label as well as candidate cities and regions in preparing their EER application.
A special thematic session of this year's EER Info Day will be Role of entrepreneurship in rebuilding the Ukraine's economy, putting the spotlight on sustaining the economic cooperation with Ukraine from a local and regional perspective. The session will encourage the dissemination of best practice between EER regions with their expertise and entrepreneurial mindset to help develop cooperation with Ukraine.
In the second part of the event dedicated to the EER 2025 call for applications, one of the successful EER 2024 regions will present the prospects for their EER 2024 year. This session will be a chance for candidate EER regions and cities to obtain first-hand tips and advice and inquire about specific aspects of the application process with the EER secretariat and successful EER regions. A representative of the EER jury will be a special guest in this session.
