This EU Local Dialogue organised by CoR member Clare COLLERAN MOLLOY (IE/Renew) will take the format of a 1.5 – two hours discussion about the European Union with South Ireland MEPs Cynthia Ní Mhurchú (IE/Renew) and Billy Kelleher (IE/Renew). Minister Timmy Dooley and Cathal Crowe from the Dail (Irish Parliament) are also expected to participate.
Held at the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis, Co. Clare, the event will bring together around 50 high school students, as well as public at large. Following brief introductory speeches, the students will have the opportunity to pose questions. The outcome expected from this EU Local Dialogue is to enhance the audience's understanding of EU's importance and impact on citizens' lives in Ireland.
