In October 2018, Anna Rastello and Riccardo Carnovalini left their home in the Italian-French Alps, walked 11,275 km through 22 European countries and reached Trieste 365 days later. During that remarkable year, Anna took reams of notes and Riccardo took over 10 thousand photographs. These are the building blocks of an exhibition that gives us an intimate portrait of Europe

Together, Anna and Riccardo crossed landscapes, towns and cities and listened to the stories of the people they met. “We wished to show our love for Europe at a time of great uncertainty,” they said. “We hope to see the tottering child that we got to know in our journey grow into a woman of peace; a woman that can change the world”.

The presentation (vernissage) of the exhibition will be held on the 29th of June at 17:00

Access to the buildings of the EU institutions is possible but regulated. Only persons registered at an event (conference, meeting, etc.) in the JDE building where the exhibition is hosted can visit the exhibition.

People who are interested in visiting the exhibition, should contact the organisers of the exhibition (whose contact details are available below), for an invitation to the above mentioned exhibition presentation (vernissage).
