  • Zero pollution in air, water, and soil

Best practice will allow such things as improving the process of issuing poor air quality notifications, limiting human involvement in operating the IT system, taking preventive and protective measures and reducing emissions of pollutants into the air.

To make it easier to send information between institutions on the risk of a breach of air quality standards or the occurrence thereof, and to make the procedures for preparing such information less labour intensive, we submitted the "Information and warning system for the risk and occurrence of breach of air quality standards" for the project "Development of innovative e-services for the digital transition of local government entities" (E-Pioneer). This task is currently being handled, on the request of the National Centre for Research and Development, by a team of IT and management specialists, and is being coordinated with the institutions involved in the notification of poor air quality. The value of the project is PLN 1.5 million. The outcome of this task should be automation of the preparation and sending of notifications on poor air quality between institutions and coordinating all available IT and electronic tools, along the lines of the Mieszk@niec app ("air quality" mode), websites, LED screens in public transport, LED panels on buildings.
