Your job and responsibilities

Are you interested in working in an international and dynamic environment? Would you like to help your colleagues provide first-class catering services while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction?

As a contract agent within the Infrastructure Unit, catering service, you will be responsible for managing catering services, particularly the contracts for purchasing, installing, and maintaining kitchen equipment.

You will organize the execution of all operational and administrative tasks related to managing these contracts. You will also handle administrative and financial tasks.

You will be part of the dynamic team of the EMAS and Catering Services, which consists of 7 people.

JOB-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • You have passed EPSO CAST FGIII
  • You have experience in administrative management, monitoring budgetary, financial, and contractual planning, drafting reports after events, and ensuring the legality and regularity of operations.
  • You have a good knowledge of the financial regulation applicable to the general budget of the EU and its implementing rules; experience in the operational implementation of framework contracts and with external service providers is highly appreciated.
  • You have solid experience in the catering field.
  • You have good knowledge in purchasing, installing, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
  • You are familiar with new catering equipment and technologies.
  • You demonstrate an ability to stay at the forefront of new trends in the catering field.
  • You have stress resistance skills and are responsive/reliable in emergencies, providing relevant and realistic solutions with discernment.
  • You have excellent coordination skills.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the EU and a satisfactory knowledge of another of these languages. For functional reasons, a high level of French is required and a good level of English is desirable.
  • You are proficient in computer applications and tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.).
  • You enjoy working in a team.
