The April ENVE commission meeting will take place fully in person on Thursday, 11 April 2024 from 11:00 to 17:00 in the room JDE 52 at the European Committee of the Regions, Rue Belliard 99-101, Brussels.
The agenda includes the adoption of three opinions on:
- Towards a Global Green Deal: harmonizing global frameworks for climate change, biodiversity and sustainable development – Rafał TRZASKOWSKI (PL/EPP) and Kata TÜTTO (HU/PES)
- Towards a resilient water management to fight climate crisis within an EU Blue Deal - André VIOLA (FR/PES), replaced by Luca MENESINI (IT/PES)
- The role of local and regional authorities in the transition towards a circular economy – Loredana CAPONE (IT/PES) (Referral by the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union)
One exchange of views is scheduled on:
- European Wind Power Action Plan – Andries GRYFFROY (BE/EA)
